Out Here On My Own is a re-energizing and rebranding project for the creative outlets of Seattle’s Nick Foster. It’s a realignment of creative endeavors with personal values, a way to take back ownership of engagement in a fragmented music industry that extracts value, a single place to be whole as a boutique artist with diverse projects and creative interests, and a platform for meaningful exchange as the context for consumption of that art. At face value, it’s an umbrella brand for a website to house content. But it’s also a lot more.
"Working with Andrew Martinez as a design partner, I was at ease with both his casual demeanor and his collaborative mindset. He took the care and time to invest personally and to align creatively with the vision for the project. We explored ideas together until we were both excited. This built trust and confidence quickly- which he delivered on with big picture perspective, detailed follow through, and the technical skills to back them up. Andrew is part of the breed that pulls things that should exist out of the ether and into the world, an artist through and through. My absolute favorite kind of person to create with."
